The yoga brings you stillness and stretching within while the Gentle Somatic Yoga brings the neuroscience of repatterning your brain through Gentle Somatic Flows and pandiculation rather than stretching. Gentle Somatic Yoga, releases pain held in the body from trauma, repetitive movement or habits acquired over your lifetime. It can be done on the floor, a chair or even in bed, if you are bedridden. I had hip pain I ignored until I couldn’t. Then I went to Holistic Practitioners for 3 years, who helped but the effect wasn’t lasting.
